LOS ANGELES (AP) – Los Angeles police have arrested a man who punched two women in a clash over a hot dog captured on now-viral video.
The Los Angeles Police Department says 30-year-old Arka Sangbarani Oroojian of Sylmar turned himself in Tuesday night and was booked for assault with a deadly weapon.
His bail was set at $90,000.
The department thanked the community for its help sharing a video of the clash.
The video shows a man throw a woman to the ground in downtown Saturday, then punch a second as she approached.
He punched the first woman as she got up and the second as she stood still, knocking her down.
He hit the first woman again as she wound up to hit him.
It’s unclear if Oroojian has an attorney.
