Authorities are investigating after Caltrain fatally hit a person who was trespassing in Redwood City.
The incident happened just after 10 a.m. on the tracks at Main Street in Redwood City.
Authorities say southbound train No. 134 fatally hit the unidentified person.
The southbound main track is closed and the northbound main track is operating at restricted speeds through the affected area.
Emergency crews are on scene.
This is Caltrain’s second fatality of 2019.
