Police in Alameda investigated a report of a suspicious device Monday.
The suspicious device was reported in the area of Hibbard Street and Buena Vista Avenue between Grand and Paru Street.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and determined that the device was not explosive or a threat to public safety.
