Two people were shot at while driving on I-880 on Thursday.
The suspects got away, and now CHP is asking for your help finding them
A CHP spokesperson says it all happened last night around 6 p.m. on northbound I-880.
After the two victims were shot at, they pulled up behind a CHP officer who was on a separate call in the area.
Officers then shut down the freeway for about 30 minutes to look for evidence and start an investigation.
The CHP officer says the suspects in another car continued northbound.
They don’t have a description of the suspects or the suspects’ car, but they assume someone must have seen this all happen because it happened during rush hour.
If you saw something or know anything about this incident, please call the CHP Hayward office at 510-489-1500.
