VACAVILLE (KRON) — One person was injured in a shooting in Vacaville Sunday afternoon, marking the second shooting in two days in the town.
Police officers responded around 3 p.m. to a report of a shooting near Alamo Drive and La Cruz Lane.
The person shot was taken a nearby hospital and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Sunday’s shooting comes one day after another shooting on the freeway in Vacaville that left a man dead.
It’s unclear if police are searching for suspects in either shootings.
