PLEASANT HILL — Five puppies left abandoned in a Pleasant Hill park are now available for adoption.
The puppies were found inside a garbage bag by a couple on January 19.
The couple says they were walking their dog in the park when the dog alerted them to a trash bag near a garbage can. The tiny terriers were found inside and later taken to the Contra Costa Animal Services shelter.
