LOS ANGELES (KRON) — Marion “Suge” Knight collapsed in court Friday after a judge set his bail at $25 million for the murder case in which Knight ran over two men on camera with his SUV.
The judge’s ruling was justified due to his belief that Knight “has a great potential to flee and apparently has so in the past.”
“In this court’s opinion, $25 million is reasonable, and it is so set,” said Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald S. Coen.
Knight is charged with two counts of hit-and-run, one count of murder, and one count of attempted murder.
Upon hearing this news, Knight collapsed in his chair, with his attorneys at his side.
The rap mogul has suffered from health problems in the past, including diabetes and blood clots, and was rushed to the hospital, according to his attorneys. His condition has not been released.
