SAN LEANDRO (KRON) — A woman was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in San Leandro Tuesday morning.
The woman was walking in a crosswalk at East 14th Street and Dutton Avenue at 8:40 a.m. when she was hit by a car.
When first responders arrived, they found the woman conscious, breathing and walking around at the scene of the accident.
Initially, the woman refused treatment for her injuries, but first responders convinced her to go to the hospital.
According to San Leandro Police Lt. Robert McManus, “they convinced her because of the fact that she was struck and
knocked down.”
Further details about the victim and her condition were not immediately available this morning.
