SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Golden State Warriors win the Pacific Division title for the first time in almost 40 years.

Little known back-up point guard Shaun Livingston has battled the odds to step up for the team. Picked fourth overall in the 2004 NBA draft, he began his career with the LA Clippers. In 2007 he suffered a severe knee injury that nearly ended his career. He says his “shoot for the stars, land on the moon mentality” has fed his hunger to “not settle” and make his comeback.

As Stephen Curry’s back-up, Livingston also gets a unique bird’s eye view of the probable MVP and says he’s seen Curry take his game to another level this year, in every facet.
