LAKE TAHOE (KRON) — Sunday’s storm brought rain to the Bay Area, but farther north, it brought more than just rain.

Heavenly Mountain Resort reports that the ski resort received two to five inches of snow in the past 24 hours.

The resort tweeted that the lifts will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday.

Like many others in the area, Heavenly Mountain Resort is looking forward to the second storm coming Monday.
