SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man died after being stabbed in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood Monday evening.

The stabbing happened around 6:49 p.m. in the 400 block of Minna Street.

By the time police arrived at the scene, the assailant had already left.

The victim, a man in his 30s or 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene by the San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office. His name has not been released yet.

As of Tuesday morning, police didn’t have anybody in custody, nor had they released the name of any possible suspect or person of interest.
