SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A stand-off San Francisco’s Ingleside district ended peacefully after 20 hours.

Police received a call Tuesday night at about 8:15 p.m. of a ‘family dispute,’ and when they arrived at the house on the corner of Schwerin Street and Sunnyvale street they found a man barricaded inside the residence.

Negotiators arrived on scene and tried to communicate with the person inside, but he ignored them.

The victim was not injured during the incident, and there are no other individuals inside the suspect’s apartment, according to police.

The 200 block of Schwerin Street was closed for most of the day as police tried to talk with the man.

Police spokesperson Officer Albie Esparza said the man had surrendered as of 5:30 p.m.

The man’s name has not yet been released.
