SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Investigators say that arson is the probably cause of a fire that burned several cars at a Chevrolet dealership north of San Francisco.

Sgt. Sasha D’Amico says officers found several vehicles on fire when they responded to a call Wednesday night about a brush fire in Novato about 30 miles north of San Francisco.

At least two 2015 Chevrolet Volts were set on fire, whose flames spread to other cars on the lot.

The retail price for a Chevy Volt is around $34,000.

The investigation is ongoing as to who might have started this fire, and why.
