SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two men who shot a man near Garfield Square in San Francisco’s Mission District on Monday night are still at large according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The victim, described as a man in his 20s, was walking with friends around 10 p.m. near the intersection of 25th and Harrison streets when two males are believed to have crossed the street and fired a semi-automatic handgun at him, according to police.

The victim was shot at least once in the stomach.

When police got to the area, the shooters had already left. As of Tuesday morning, nobody had been arrested in connection to this shooting.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.
