SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco is the first city in the nation to have a law requiring a warning label on advertisements for soda and other sugary drinks. San Francisco Supervisor Scott Wiener visited the KRON studio Sunday to talk about this new law that was approved earlier in the week.

Watch this interview for more details about why the supervisors developed this law to help battle diabetes, obesity, tooth decay and other related health impacts by using tactics Wiener described as similar to cigarette warnings that have had an impact on lowering the number of smokers.
