OAKLAND (KRON)– Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf came to the KRON 4 studio this morning to talk about the Warriors and the possibility of the team moving from Oakland to San Francisco.
The Golden State Warriors won the 2015 NBA Finals less than two weeks ago. The final series was against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dubs took the winning title after beating them in Game 6 on June 16th. Over half a million people attended the Warriors parade that was held in Oakland on June 19th.
The NBA MVP Stephen Curry is currently nominated for three ESPY awards which include Best NBA Player, Best Male Athlete, and Best Play for his 3-pointers. Steve Kerr, the coach for Golden State, is nominated for Best Coach/Manager and Klay Thompson is nominated for Best Record-Breaking Performance.
