HERCULES (KRON) — The woman killed in an early morning Interstate Highway 80 crash in Hercules has been identified as 29-year-old Zairalene Abiodun of Fairfield, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Contra Costa County coroner’s office.
The crashed occurred shortly after midnight Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of Highway 80 near state Highway 4, CHP officials said.
The crash caused two lanes of the highway to shut down as CHP investigated the scene.
No word on what caused the crash.
A CHP spokesman did not immediately return requests for more information about the accident.
