HAYWARD (KRON) — KRON 4 was first on the scene of a deadly officer shooting Wednesday morning that took the life of Sergeant Scott Lunger.
48-year-old Lunger was a newly appointed Sergeant and father of two girls, who was an active member of the community, according to Hayward police.AUDIO: HAYWARD SHOOTING
The incident happened at 3:15 a.m. on the corner of Myrtle and Lion Streets in Hayward when officers pulled over a white truck, according to police.
