LOS ALTOS (KRON) — Cal Water is canceling the boil water advisory that had been issued for Friday for customers on Seven Acres Lane and at 448 West Fremont Road, according to the agency.
Cal Water said tests showed there was no presence of E.coli in the water system.
“We sincerely thank our Seven Acres and West Fremont customers for their patience as we worked to ensure their water service was safe to return to normal use,” District Manager Ron Richardson said. “Like we said before, protecting our customers’ health and safety is our highest priority, and we apologize for this inconvenience.”
Customers affected who used bottled water during the boil water advisory can get a refund by Cal Water if they show their receipts, Cal Water said.
They can mail them or bring them to 949 B Street, Cal Water said.
