SAN JOSE (KRON) — West Nile virus has turned up again in one South Bay city.

Santa Clara County Vector Control District said mosquitoes with the virus were found in San Jose. Limited fogging will begin on Sept. 29.

The procedure should start around 11 a.m. and is only scheduled to take a few hours.

If your neighborhood is part of the fogging, you should receive a notice on your door.

Officials said residents should avoid going outside and should keep windows closed to minimize exposure to the pesticide.

The district also encourages residents to report potential mosquito-breeding sources such as neglected pools by calling (408) 918-4770.
