(KRON) — A supermoon lunar eclipse will take place Sunday evening. It starts around 6:55 PM and continues until 9:27 PM.

With the high amount of clouds, it might be hard to spot. San Francisco also has fogs to contend with it, causing difficultly when trying to view it.

However, KRON 4 Meteorologist, Brian Van Aken says that the clouds could be out of the way to make it a little easier to see the rarity.

The last supermoon occurred in 1982.
