SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — Police say a person sustained non-life-threatening injuries during a shooting in San Jose.
The shooting was reported at 11:18 a.m., police said. The victim was earlier reported to have life-threatening injuries, but police released a statement just after 2:30 p.m. saying the victim’s injuries had been downgraded to non-life-threatening.
The 800 block of Deland Ave remains an active scene.
Deland Ave is closed to traffic from Nevin Wy to Kingman Ave.
