SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A woman was hit and killed by a car near San Francisco’s Crocker Amazon Playground on Friday morning, police said.
68-year-old Zhong Nu Liang of San Francisco was in a crosswalk near the intersection of Athens Street and Geneva Avenue at 7:54 a.m. when she was struck by a white Volkswagen CC driven by a 22-year-old man, according to police.
Liang was taken to a hospital but was dead by the time she arrived there, police said.
