BALTIMORE (KRON) — Gun-themed stilettos and jewelry forced an air traveler in Baltimore, Maryland, to make a detour.

TSA agents detected the gun-themed shoes and bracelets in the woman’s carry-on bags. The woman was instructed to check the items because the agency does not permit any replica guns or ammunition to go past checkpoints.

The traveler was forced to leave her shoes and bracelets with TSA because it was too late for the airline to check the added luggage.

TSA wrote a statement reminding travelers to leave replica weapons at home or put them in a checked bag.CNN contributed to this report
