OAKLAND (KRON) — It is a special day for Golden State Warriors fans.
On Friday, the team is putting out Stephen Curry’s two MVP trophies out on display and allowing fans to take a picture posing with the awards.
The trophies are on display at the Warriors Team Store at Oracle Arena on Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to the Warriors.
Curry was elected to his second consecutive MVP award on Wednesday and is only the 11th player to win the award in back-to-back seasons. He was the first NBA player to win unanimously.
He shattered the three-point shooting record this year, shooting 402 from beyond the arc and breaking his own previous record of 286, set in 2015.
Teammate Klay Thompson is the closest player to Curry’s record, shooting 276 three-pointers this year.Bay City News contributed to this report
