SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — Six veterans graduated Friday from the Veterans Justice Court program in San Francisco, court officials said.
The Veterans Justice Court program aims to improve public safety and help defendants return to productive lives.
The program offers job training, treatment for drug addiction, mental health counseling and other services to repair family relationships, secure and maintain a home and work and avoid future offenses, according to court officials.
Since the program began, 71 veterans have graduated.
