(KRON) A number of protesters have climbed the flag poles outside Oakland Police headquarters stretching a banner between two of the poles.

The banner reads “OPD guilty of human trafficking & statutory rape”.

KRON4’s Haaziq Madyun tweeted:

KRON4 was the first Bay Area television station to break the news that an 18-year-old self-described call girl going by the name Celeste Guap had sexual relationships with a number of police officers from Oakland and around the Bay Area.

On Thursday Oakland mayor Libby Schaaf called for an investigation into a new police criminal misconduct case.

“Today, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and City Administrator Sabrina Landreth announced that at their request, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office will be handling an investigation into alleged criminal misconduct by a member of the Oakland Police Department (OPD). This investigation is separate and unrelated to the ongoing investigation into alleged sexual misconduct by members of OPD,” mayor’s office spokeswoman Erica Derryck said in a press release.

Also on Thursday KRON4 learned that Guap has also had sex with San Francisco police officers.

In a text exchange, she said, “I’ve only hooked up with like 2 from SF but one was ex OPD.”

When asked if she was underage at the time of those sexual encounters, she replied, “No, that’s why I don’t see the problem!!”

San Francisco police media relations would not go on camera to talk about the sex scandal.

In a statement, they said:

“We are aware of the investigation [refering to what is underway at Oakland police] and are conducting a review to determine if any of our members had any inappropriate contact with the victim.”
