Kylen Mills joined the KRON 4 team in September of 2020 as a sports reporter.
Kylen comes to San Francisco after spending more than three years in Lexington, Kentucky covering the Kentucky Wildcats.
Some of Kylen’s favorite memories there include traveling with the Cats basketball team during their 2019 NCAA tournament run which fell just short of the final four, covering the UK football team’s thrilling win in the Belk Bowl on New Year’s Eve, and taking part in her station’s live specials at the Kentucky Derby.
Kylen also won a Kentucky AP Broadcasters Award and was nominated for a regional Emmy for Sports Feature Story.
Before Lexington, Kylen worked on-air in Oklahoma City and the Quad Cities which is located on the Iowa and Illinois state line.
She’s a Chicago-area native with a broadcast journalism degree from Lewis University, where she also played soccer.
In her free time, Kylen enjoys playing competitive soccer, running, cheering on all Chicago sports teams, and spending time outdoors with her two large dogs.
She’s excited to cover the Bay Area teams and their passionate fans.
