SANTA CRUZ (KRON) —- Santa Cruz police shut down an illegal nightclub Saturday night and arrested four people connected to the operation.
Police obtained a search warrant for the club on the 300 block of Coral Street. Authorities found and seized large amounts of alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and a stolen firearm.
Robert Cardiasmenos, 62, Stephanie Ross, 52, Patrick Eze, 51, and Amber Hagle,33, were all arrested at the scene.
About 40 people were inside the club when police arrived.
Police made the arrests and seizure after undercover officers investigated the club.
During the undercover investigation, officers found staff selling alcohol without a license and allowing customers to take and hand out illegal drugs.
Cardiasmenos was arrested for possessing a stolen firearm, failing to obtain worker’s compensation insurance, and conspiracy to sell alcohol.
The other three suspects were just charged with conspiracy to sell alcohol.
