SANTA CRUZ COUNTY (KRON)—The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 53-year-old man after finding drugs and thousands of dollars inside his truck.

Royce Fuller of Monterey County was pulled over by police for speeding on Mission Street in Santa Cruz around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies later obtained a warrant to search Fuller’s truck. Deputies found 12 ounces of methamphetamine and $3,200 cash inside his car.

Authorities also obtained a warrant to search Fuller’s home and a home in San Jose.

Over $16,000 cash and eleven firearms were found at the San Jose home. The person living in the home, 48-year-old Tim Crooks was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.

Crooks was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.

Detectives found $4,000 in cash inside Fuller’s home.

Fuller was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail for possession of a controlled substance for sales and transporting it.
