SAN PABLO (KRON) — San Pablo police have arrested a woman who escaped from custody on Friday, police said.
Police said they arrested Nakiya Hutcherson at a home in Richmond. Officers took her into custody without incident, according to police.
The Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office filed charges of felony identity theft, misdemeanor escaping police custody, misdemeanor vandalism, and misdemeanor trespassing.
Hutcherson was booked into Martinez Detention Facility, according to police.
The woman had used her older sister’s name to identify herself in order to avoid prosecution, police said.
