News of the fire and students still missing is still a reality the campus community is having a tough time coping with.
So far, 33 victims have been found buried in the rubble and ash of the Oakland warehouse that caught fire Friday night.
There are still several people that remain missing.

“Being a part of the arts community it’s sad to lose people working on the same endeavor and going to your school,” said UC Berkeley student Linda Giron.
A letter from chancellor Nicholas Dirks was sent out Sunday afternoon addressing the Cal community of the devastating news.
Our hearts, condolences, and prayers go out to the families and friends of the deceased, as well as those who must deal with unbearable uncertainty as they wait to hear about all who remain unaccounted for.
“They get back to us and update us on that information so I’m extremely grateful for that,” said U.C. Berkeley student Chris Garig.
The university is offering counseling services to those who may be having a hard time coping with the news.
