DENVER (KRON/CNN) — Cities across the nation are cracking down on safety, following the deadly Oakland warehouse fire where 36 people lost their lives.

For example, a building in Denver, similar to the Ghost Ship in Oakland, has been shut down.

It was called the Rhinoceropolis and was popular with artists and musicians.

Inspectors have now found several code violations and say it’s unsafe.

There is a notice on the door warning people to stay out.

And earlier this week, an artists’ collective in Baltimore was closed down because of similar problems.
