SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The heavy rains caused problems in San Francisco on Saturday afternoon.
In Fisherman’s Wharf, a large chunk of bushes came down outside of the cannery, which is near Beach and Columbus.
No injuries were reported.
Workers say the rain weighed down the plant and sent it crashing into the sidewalk.
Private crews spent much of the day breaking the bush apart with chainsaws and pitch forks.
At one time, the plant covered a portion of the bricks and the cannery sign.
