Reyna Harvey joined the KRON4 team in April 2020, Born and raised in the Bay Area, Reyna has worked in Southern California, the East Coast, and Midwest. Reyna worked recently in Bakersfield, CA where she was anchoring, reporting, and doing the weather.
Reyna worked as the morning reporter covering breaking and current news events in Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. Before that, she worked as an intern in the communications department at The White House and for the Mayor of Riverside. During her time at The White House, she worked closely with the broadcast team, helping craft the message of the President to the American people. During her time working in the broadcast department, she met many seasoned reporters who offered mentorship and inspired her to continue pursuing her dream of broadcast journalism.
Reyna worked as a news assistant at KABC in Los Angeles, where she fell in love with journalism and storytelling. During her time at KABC, she helped produce content for the hourly newscasts, and worked on the assignment desk. She has also worked in production for networks including, The Oprah Winfrey Network, PBS, The Arsenio Hall Show, and KTLA Channel 5 News in Hollywood. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
In her free time, Reyna enjoys being a part of the community, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
