More than 84 percent of students nationwide graduated from high school last year, the highest percentage since 2011.

All minority groups saw a rise in graduation rates but there are still gaps.

Seventy-six percent of black students and 79 percent of Hispanic students graduated last year.

That’s compared to 88-percent of white students.
