SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — More than 100 attorneys are asking San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee for an investigation into the shooting death of Mario Woods.
In their letter, the attorneys said they were “deeply disturbed” by the video showing the Woods’ shooting by police.
They add Woods did not “appear to have been a threat to the lives of the officers.”
The Bay Area lawyers said they are most troubled by police Chf. Suhr’s response to the shooting and are calling for an investigation into the incident.
They also are calling for a review of SFPD’s use of force policies.
