OAKLAND (KRON) – A man died and a woman was injured after their car crashed into a parked big-rig early Sunday morning in Oakland, police said.
Police received the first report of the crash around 1:21 a.m. in the 1300 block of 57th Avenue, according to authorities.
The couple’s vehicle went underneath the trailer of the big-rig, Officer J. Moore said.
23-year-old Oscar Gonzalez Martinez of San Francisco died at the scene, according to officials.
The woman was taken to a hospital, Moore said.
