MILPITAS (KRON) — The Milpitas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a residential burglary suspect.
Police have released a photo of a suspect who burglarized a Milpitas home in late January.
On January 29, 2016, at about 8:50 am, a Milpitas Police Department officer investigated a residential burglary at the Mill Creek Apartments, 440 Dixon Landing Road in Milpitas.
The victim told police when she returned home, she found her residence had been ransacked and personal belongings were stolen.
According to police, surveillance footage showed the suspect was a African American male who is about 6 feet tall with a heavy build and was last seen wearing a black beanie, green shirt, black jacket with a white Nike Air Jordan logo on the left side of the chest, black gloves and dark jeans.
