SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) –A man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after getting into an accident while on his bicycle Monday afternoon.
The 26-year-old man was biking south on Gough Street in the Western Addition near the intersection of McAllister Street when he crashed into the back of a car.
The driver of the car was also going south on Gough when she stopped and switched on her turn signal to pull into a parking space.
That’s when the biker crashed into the woman’s car.
The biker was taken to the hospital to be treated for a head trauma, internal bleeding, a punctured lung and fractured ribs.
The driver of the car remained at the scene, and cooperated with police.
