OAKLAND (KRON) — Bike East Bay announced it’s Fifth Annual Bike Friendly Business Award winners Tuesday, with Jay Marlette’s Home Inspection Service taking home the organization’s People’s Choice Award.

Rich City Rides won the Spirit Award, while the Alameda County General Services Agency won the Large Employer Award, according to Bike East Bay.

“Our Bike Friendly Business Awards serve many purposes,” executive director Renee Rivera said in a statement. “First of all, they shine a light on some of the East Bay’s most forward-thinking and progressive businesses or organizations and thank them for going the extra mile. Second, it’s a way for us as an organization to remind people that bikes and good business go hand in hand.”
