SALINAS (KRON) — Salinas police are asking the public for help in finding a couple suspected of using fraudulent checks at a JCPenney store.
Police have released photos of the couple seen shopping at the store located at the Northridge Mall, where they allegedly used the fake checks.
According to police, one of the suspects is described as a Hispanic woman in her 30s or 40s with medium build and long black hair. The other suspect is a Hispanic man also in his 30s or 40s with a large build and mustache.
He was seen wearing prescription glasses with a black frame, according to police.
