The jackpot-winning ticket for Friday’s Mega Millions draw may not have been sold in The Golden State, but four tickets did match five numbers and will split the $2,280,492 prize.
Lottery officials say each ticket is worth $570,123 before federal taxes.
The four winning tickets were sold in Antioch, Nipton (San Bernardino County), Riverside, and Los Angeles.
Officials say winners can claim their prizes during normal business hours at any of the nine California Lottery District Offices.
Since the Mega Millions jackpot was hit in Ohio on Friday, Tuesday’s jackpot has reset and will be worth at least an estimated $40 million.
