VALLEJO (KRON) — During a the Vallejo School Board’s meeting Wednesday, several concerned parents voiced concerns over the safety and security at Jesse Bethel High School.
Vallejo School Board superintendent Dr. Ramona Bishop didn’t have much to say as a response. In fact, she didn’t say anything, refusing to answer questions about possible security concerns at the high school.
Two of the parents asking questions were the parents of 17-year-old Max Rusk. The teen was killed on May 14th, at a trail just off campus.
The next day, Vallejo police arrested 19-year-old Zachery Kroll and 16-year-old Elisha Marcel White, Junior on murder charges.
Rusk’s mother worries another tragedy could happen again unless the school makes changes.
