SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco Police are asking the public’s help in finding the suspect in a violent aggravated assault that took place on May 9th.

The attack happened around 11:05 a.m. near the intersections of Grant and Geary when the suspect, for no reason called the victim who was walking a derogatory name and attacked her by punching her in the face and knocking her to the ground.

According to police, the suspect fled on foot.

The victim, a 38-year-old female, received a serious injury to her face.  She received medical treatment at the Emergency Room that day, and she is still receiving treatment for the injury.

Police have been unable to locate the suspect, who is described as a white male, about 5’6 with brown hair.  He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and dirty shoes. A composite sketch accompanies this press release.
