DALY CITY (KRON) — Daly City police are asking for help identifying an elderly woman who can’t remember her name.

Tuesday evening, around 7 p.m., police found the woman disoriented in the 100 block of Third Avenue.

The woman told police that she thinks her name may be Normita Vidallo, but she wasn’t sure. She couldn’t remember any basic information about herself or her family. Nor did she know if she was being treated for any medical conditions.

Officers checked the surrounding area and nearby convalescent homes, but were unable to find anyone who knows her.

Police describe the woman as between 70 and 80 years old. She is 5 feet tall, 145 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. The woman also wears glasses, according to police.

The woman is currently being held for medical reasons at a hospital, police said.
