A Georgia police officer has quit his job after dash cam video surfaced of a violent arrest involving a 65-year-old woman.
Authorities say Rose Campbell was pulled over last Friday after he car swerved.
During the traffic stop, Campbell refused to sign her citation and didn’t want to exit her vehicle, officers said.
The situation soon escalates and video shows Officer James Legg yelling and cursing at the woman.
A group of officers forcefully took the woman into custody.
Legg was suspended immediately and the Alpharetta Police Department has launched an investigation.
In turn, Legg submitted his resignation and doesn’t think he acted inappropriately.
