OAKLAND (KRON) — An upset neighbor in an East Bay community reached out to KRON 4 after the #BlackLivesMatter sign she put on her property was vandalized, altering what she says is an important message.

The #BlackLivesMatter movement started when people were outraged over the shooting deaths of unarmed black men. There were protests all over the country, including the Bay Area.
