FRESNO, California (KSEE) — UPDATE: Fresno Unified says they have just identified at least seven students who may have been involved with hanging a confederate flag on a school tower.
…..
ORIGINAL STORY: Officials at Bullard High School are investigating who put up a Confederate flag atop a tower on the gymnasium Thursday.
People who showed up to the high school noticed the flag flapping in the wind. It was attached to the top of a communication tower.
Fresno Unified officials said that it may be a senior prank. There were also plastic forks stuck into the ground, and someone put colored dye into the fountain.
They’re going to look at surveillance video to see if they can identify the person or people responsible.
The flag has since been taken down.
Officials said the school would be sending emails out to parents.
No other information was immediately available.
