A deadly wildfire near Redding in Shasta County is growing Friday morning.
The Carr Fire now stands at nearly 45,000 acres.
One person has died in the fire. A private hire dozer operator was killed in the blaze.
Three firefighters have been hurt.
A time-lapse video on Wednesday night was shot about 8 miles east of the fire.
Firefighters are working to save lives and property with several structures already lost in the flames.
Containment is just at 6 percent.
The fire has forced evacuations and road closures as thick smoke blackens the sky above.
Fifteen structures have been destroyed. Five of them have been damaged.
News station KRCR in Redding had to suspend its live coverage and evacuate due to the wildfire.
